Forza Horizon 5 is set in Mexico. The game promises the largest and most diverse open world in the history of the series.
In addition to the Mexican landscape, Forza Horizon 5 features a "deep campaign" with challenges, story missions, "spectacular natural phenomena" (dust storms and tropical storms) and dynamic seasons each week. The authors promise the largest open world in the series - a miniature version of Mexico in the game will be 1.5 times the size of the Forza Horizon 4 map and includes several biomes.
Forza Horizon 5 will feature the Horizon Arcade co-op mini-game mode and EventLab toolkit for creating your own gameplay scenarios (including prescribing rules). The authors promise the largest open world in the series - a miniature version of Mexico in the game will be 1.5 times the size of the Forza Horizon 4 map and includes several biomes.
The developers promise that Forza Horizon 5 will amaze with its details (up to the light passing through the cactus needles), the implementation of HDR and ray tracing in Forzavista mode (car viewing).
The game will run in 4K @ 30 fps on Xbox Series X and 1080p @ 30 fps on Xbox Series S. FH5 will also add a 60 fps performance mode.
It is also noteworthy that, despite the improved graphics, the minimum system requirements have not changed since the temporary fourth part of the series.
The release will take place on Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC (Steam, Windows 10), as well as Xbox Game Pass on November 9, 2021. The Premium Edition also includes early access to the game from November 5th.
